Our client is a Fortune 500 company well known as a global electronic distributor. This company works closely with the top manufacturers of electronic components in the world, and products, offering a wide range of products starting from passive components through microcontrollers, microprocessors, FPGAs, and specialized SoMs and single-board computers.

This time we are looking for a remote Embedded Engineer (high-end Linux) to help our client to develop solutions for systems in the Internet of Things. Our client is expanding its’ team of software developers focused on embedded systems and cloud-based solutions. They are developing products for customers in various markets, including Automotive, Medical, and Military. As such, they use a variety of systems to meet the project requirements, both based on Linux as well as microcontrollers running RTOS.

The Embedded Engineer will work closely with other Embedded team members, Business developers, Machine Learning Engineers, and the Cloud team to deliver a complete solution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science or related;
• 3+ years of commercial software development experience;
• Strong software design skills and good software practices;
• Willing to learn new technologies;
• C or C++ or Python expert knowledge;
• Yocto project, Linux kernel, GDB;
• Jira, CI/CD and Git – GitLab, Github, Jenkins;
• Experience with low-level hardware.
• Upper-intermediate level of English and /or Polish;

• Scrum;

• CMake and Make;
• MQTT, AMQP.
