This time we are looking for a Big Data DevOps who will take part in the development of the data platform, where all company’s analytical data will be stacked together. That’s an exciting opportunity to be part of the launch and operation team in a large Kubernetes/Spark/S3 cluster and one of the most interesting BI practices in Eastern Europe.

Our client is a successful Ukrainian software development company, implementing original end-to-end solutions, specializing in business process management software, web and mobile development, and infrastructure projects.

TASKS & OBJECTIVES

• Support and development data platform (Kubernetes, Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Minio/AWS S3);
• Support for a team of data engineers and analysts;
• Keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of relevant DevOps experience;
• Python or Java experience;
• Kubernetes experience;
• Understanding the advantage of GitOps/IaC over manual work;
• Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD;
• Docker (Docker BuildKit) or Alternative Containers Build Tools;
• TeamCity, Azure DevOps, or a similar CI/CD tool;
• Minio, AWS S3;
• You speak Ukrainian or English.

NICE TO HAVE

• Kerberos, Active directory;
• Apache Spark in Kubernetes, Apache Kafka;
• Experience with any OLAP DB;
• Apache Airflow;
• Security in K8s, HashiCorp Vault, Oauth, OpenID, and Keycloak;
• Experience with at least one of the most popular programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, Python, Golang, Scala, etc;
• Argo Workflows, Argo Events, Argo Rollouts.

WHAT YOU GET INSTEAD

• Monthly salary 4000-6000$ after taxes.
